Brian is the founder and a principal consultant of Brewer Marketing Group. Prior to starting BMG, Brian spent over twenty years in marketing, sales and sales support/engineering for technology based companies. Brian was the Chief Marketing Officer for the Business unit of MCI Communications, at the time one the world's largest telecommunications companies.
During his corporate career, Advertising Age's Business Marketing Magazine named Brian as one of their "Power 10" Business Marketers for demonstrating market leadership and creativity in advertising, media strategy and use of new technology.
Since founding BMG, Brian has provided consulting expertise to a range of companies related to product line rationalization, integration and simplification as they have evaluated and executed acquisitions. Brian has also consulted with private equity firms as they evaluated potential acquisitions specifically related to product strategy and post merger product line rationalization.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and has an MBA from Georgia State University.
