Google expands use of mobile-friendliness in rankings

Earlier this year, Google  expanded its use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. So what does this really mean?  For searches launched on mobile devices, your site will benefit if it is mobile friendly and could be penalized (in search rankings) if your site isn't mobile friendly. How do you know if your site is mobile friendly? You can use Google's Mobile-Friendly Test Tool to test your site/URL.

As the sale of smartphone and tablet devices continues to outstrip the sale of desktop/laptop computers many times over, mobile devices will represent an even higher percentage of your site visits.
